Twistfix 9 x 280 mm replacement wall ties offer a rapid, easy, steadfast solution to cavity wall tie problems.  They are suitable for reconnecting two masonry walls with cavity widths varying from 100 to 120 mm amid imperial brickwork or 110 to 130 mm cavities where walls have 100 mm wide metric bricks and blocks.  These remedial stainless steel brick ties are the choice of professionals for wall tie replacement.  

This kit's professional SDS installation tool holds and hammer-drives the remedial ties as they screw into brick, masonry or concrete when hammered into small pilot holes using the impacting action of an SDS hammer drill.  The ties grip within an interlocking undercut, creating a helical fix connection in brick, block, stone and concrete.  

Our replacement wall ties have up to 50% more stainless steel mass than alternative standard 8 mm helical ties, making them markedly stronger, and their patented precision helix guarantees unmatchable performance.  The tying system is suitable for all wall types and is UKCA and CE Mark compliant in respect of EN 845-1:2013 when used in numerous masonry materials.  

The 100 tie kit is enough to re-tie 40 square meters when introduced into existing walls at the stipulated rate of 2.5 ties per square metre.

Our replacement wall ties have been independently tested for tension and compression in a variety of brick block and concrete materials for compliance with BS EN 845-1, meeting the requirement for UKCA and CE marking.

Next day delivery is available for orders placed before 2pm Monday - Friday (working days). Delivery will be made on the next working day.

For orders placed before 2pm on a Friday, delivery will be made on the following Monday. For orders placed after 2pm on a Friday and over the weekend, delivery will be made on the following Tuesday. For orders placed on a Bank Holiday, goods will be dispatched on the next working day (e.g goods will be dispatched on the Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday).

Returns Policy

Items returned and received in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of delivery will be accepted for exchange or refund subject to a 20% restocking fee. You will be responsible for the shipping costs incurred in returning the goods and should ensure the items are adequately insured while in transit to us. You should email sales@twistfix.co.uk to request to return items.

Where the goods are being returned because they are faulty or are not the goods that were ordered then, subject to the goods being returned in re-saleable condition, Twistfix will refund the cost of return shipping. Further information regarding Returns can be read at our Terms & Conditions.
