How to Prevent Penetrating Damp
Hurricane Debby has hit the USA, becoming the fourth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season to make landfall. The category one storm is set to bring what the National Hurricane Center has called 'historic amounts' of rain to Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas.
The UK often suffers from bad weather in the weeks following a hurricane as these giant storms interfere with the jet stream. When rain is coupled with strong winds, it causes problems with penetrating damp. This is where the moisture is driven against masonry walls and other surfaces, causing it to penetrate through and affect the indoor environment. Such surfaces need protection and this is where Enviroseal can help.

Using a roller, brush or spray unit, the formula is applied liberally to building facades, on which it dries completely clear and so has no effect on the aesthetic quality of the substrate. Once the formula has cured (which usually takes as little as three hours), it enables waterborne dirt and debris to be easily shed which, by reducing the amount of contamination on the surface, helps to enhance surface dryness and insulation.
