How to Plug Leaks in Masonry
Noticing an active water leak in masonry or concrete can be an alarming experience! Such a leak needs to be fixed instantly and one of the quickest, easiest and most reliable ways to do it is by using HydraDry WaterStop, a cementitious waterproofing putty.

- After donning suitable protective gloves, mix the powder component with the correct amount of clean water at the correct temperature according to the provided instructions. When blended, the formula sets very quickly (within 90 seconds) so do not carry out this step until you are ready to begin as the material cannot be reworked after setting.
- Roll the mixture in gloved hands until the mixture takes on a pliable consistency.
- Apply the product to the area you have prepared, starting at the top and working downwards. Press down with a trowel or the hand, holding it in place until the leak stops and the formula has set.
- Form a flat, uniform surface by carefully removing any excess material.
