Crack Stitching Rods 100 Pack.

This 100-piece pack of crack stitching rods is cost-effective for those in the building trade regularly repairing brick and masonry buildings. The stainless-steel helical bars offer a permanent retrofit reinforcement solution for fractured walls that will last the lifetime of the building.

Installing Crack Stitching Rods.

The helix-shaped rods are quick and easy to install. Use WHO 60 polymer-modified grout to secure a series of 6mm stitching rods into pre-wet slots cut into the wall. Ensure the stitching bars span 500mm on each side of the crack and space the rods 300mm to 450mm apart. Fill all cracks and repoint the bed joints to restore the original character of the wall.

How does Helical Stitching work?

Fitting high-tensile 6mm helical rods across fractures in brick, block and stone walls reconnects and fortifies weakened brickwork. The grout-bonded stitching rods absorb concentrated building loads and evenly distribute the stress along the entire length of the bars. The reinforced zone restores the structural integrity of fractured brickwork and provides lasting resilience against further cracking.

Structural Performance.

Twistfix 6 mm crack stitching rods comply with BS EN 845-1. A single WHO-60 grouted rod withstands 8.4 kN in tension. The resistance increases by installing two bars in one slot to 16 kN.

Next day delivery is available for orders placed before 2pm Monday - Friday (working days). Delivery will be made on the next working day.

For orders placed before 2pm on a Friday, delivery will be made on the following Monday. For orders placed after 2pm on a Friday and over the weekend, delivery will be made on the following Tuesday. For orders placed on a Bank Holiday, goods will be dispatched on the next working day (e.g goods will be dispatched on the Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday).

Returns Policy

Items returned and received in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of delivery will be accepted for exchange or refund subject to a 20% restocking fee. You will be responsible for the shipping costs incurred in returning the goods and should ensure the items are adequately insured while in transit to us. You should email sales@twistfix.co.uk to request to return items.

Where the goods are being returned because they are faulty or are not the goods that were ordered then, subject to the goods being returned in re-saleable condition, Twistfix will refund the cost of return shipping. Further information regarding Returns can be read at our Terms & Conditions.
