The stitching kit comprises:

• Ten stainless-steel crack stitch rods (6 mm x 1 m).
• A tub of WHO 60 polymer-modified grout (3 L yield).
• A helix mixer paddle to mix the grout.
• An applicator with an adjustable nozzle to dispense the mix.
• A pointing iron for finishing the repair.

How to use the Crack Stitching Kit.

First, cut or grind slots along the selected bed joints, 500 mm on each side of the crack. Then, clean the joints and soak them with clean water. Mix the grout, load it into the applicator, and fill each slot to two-thirds deep. Push the rods into the grout and trowel the displaced mortar to fully surround the helix. Finally, point the wall with fresh mortar to camouflage the installation.

How Crack Stitching Strengthens Walls?

The helical bars bridge the fracture, absorb stress and redeploy tension forces along the helix. A series of load-sharing rods create a reinforced zone that curtails crack development. The concealed reinforcement restores strength and stability to the brickwork.

Free delivery

We offer free next-day delivery for all orders over £150 (ex VAT) (UK Mainland Only).

Next Day Delivery (UK Mainland Only)

Next day delivery is available for orders placed before 2pm Monday - Friday (working days). Delivery will be made on the next working day.

For orders placed before 2pm on a Friday, delivery will be made on the following Monday. For orders placed after 2pm on a Friday and over the weekend, delivery will be made on the following Tuesday. For orders placed on a Bank Holiday, goods will be dispatched on the next working day (e.g goods will be dispatched on the Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday). 

Pre 10.30am and Pre 12:00pm Next Day Delivery 

These delivery options are available at an extra charge. Delivery prices are shown at checkout stage. Orders need to be placed before 2pm Monday - Friday (working days) for delivery on the following working day.

Returns Policy

Items returned and received in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of delivery will be accepted for exchange or refund subject to a 20% restocking fee. You will be responsible for the shipping costs incurred in returning the goods and should ensure the items are adequately insured while in transit to us. You should email sales@twistfix.co.uk to request to return items.
